  BACKGROUNDTBA PERSONALITY• CURIOUS Miin is an endlessly curious person, and it is their main driving force. It's strong enough for them to have wanted to leave their home planet to explore more worlds, even though their people are very close-knitted families. They really enjoy learning new things and especially about new people, often badgering new acquaintances with all kinds of questions. They can chat for ages without noticing it's too much, but a clearer 'enough' usually has them giving it a rest - at least that time. It can be annoying or endearing depending on who they are talking to, but they're a surprisingly good listener. In addition, they love being asked questions in return and has no problem showing off their physical differences and comparing them. • NAIVE They tend to trust people very easily, and that paired with their curiosity often leads to a lot of lies (for fun or more sinister reasons) being easily believed. They also tend to think the best of people no matter what, even if they're told they're a criminal or a bad person. They'd listen, but would want to see it for themselves - because maybe they changed? Due to this naïve outlook and their history, they also believe humans are the most amazing and benevolent people there ever were. They do not know the real story of why humans came to their planet and believe humans always want the best for everyone. • ALIEN Aside from some weird mannerisms, some of Miin's views and beliefs can be very strange, and often misunderstood. This can be very frustrating at times, and they feel a little... well, alienated. One of these beliefs that seems to be the most confusing is their refusal to call anything that is part of a creature's nature evil. Vampires need to suck blood? Okay, that their nature. It does not make them evil. As a species that had to literally become poisonous to avoid predators, this might be an odd view on things, but they do not see anything that needs to be done to survive as being wrong. Naturally does does not mean that they want themself or their friends hurt, but the judgement isn't there. • CODEPENDENT Miin's people are very close and easily form bonds with each other, so they might be very confused that people take more time to become friends. This also means that they will be very dependent on the friends they have, something that might lead to excess. They're not used to being lonely, both as a person and as a species. Said species are also very tactile and affectionate without any embarrassment, so personal space is fairly nonexistent with them, which can also lead to some misunderstandings and confusion. This includes sexual touch and propositions, as their specific type of species bond that way, even among just close friends. ABILITIES• Immunity to most toxins, venoms, poisons and acids. • Poisonous blood and flesh, mildly toxic bodily fluids. (Even touching them can cause slight allergic reactions in some people, and a person would need time and exposure to build up immunity.) • Immunity to bright lights and flashes (but collapses into sleep in darkness). • Extremely lightweight, flexible and agile, with natural weapons such as claws and fangs. • Increased sense of smell, advanced enough to pick up different ingredients of a scent. Can also smell chemical reactions in people, such as fear or arousal. Miin is also a very talented flute player (they play a flute called a adaani, which looks like a two-headed English flute in the shape of an upside-down Y) and is a decent singer. Other talents include language, and they have learned both English and some French from the human colonists.
